Position Title: UX Designer

About the Client: Large telecommunications and entertainment company with offices across the country.

 Work Description:

  • Design web and mobile interfaces for large consumer home automation solution
  • Collaborate with engineering team on sprint planning and design iterations
  • Partner with the UI team to research, concept and execute on all digital platforms
  • Help to define, execute and iterate on design patterns, interactions and features for the client brand and product initiatives across all screens
  • Execute at all levels of the design process from lo-fi prototype to launched product
  • Partner with content, development and product teams to create new products and features support and enhance cross-platform experiences and strategies
  • Know when to both inspire and collaborate with your team to make career-defining work

Years of Experience Required:  


Skill Set Must Haves:

  • Professional knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud. Specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Versed in Android Material Design guidelines and best practices
  • Versed in Apple iOS Human Interface guidelines and best practices
  • 2+ years of experience in user experience design for globally renowned brands.
  • Portfolio of original and breakthrough work
  • Deep expertise in responsive design, HTML5,
  • Familiarity with web and mobile development frameworks and architectures
  • Strong communication and collaboration skill

Nice to Haves

  • Knowledge in Sketch App
  • Ability to demonstrate interaction prototypes in Keynote, InVision or UX Pin
  • Experience working for in-house design/branding team, AND for an agency
