Our Lovely Bride Philadelphia store, based in historic Old City, is hiring an inspired Assistant Store Manager who is passionate about offering an exceptional and personalized shopping experience for our Lovely Brides. The Assistant Store Manager is great at the details and has the ability to offer a seamless experience for the clientele. In this role, the Assistant Store Manager will lead the Bridal Stylists in offering great service while also managing inventory and vendor relationships. This is a wonderful opportunity for an Assistant Store Manager who exhibits leadership skills and truly enjoys client engagement.

The Assistant Store Manager position is a full time role with standardized hours: Wednesday through Sunday. Given the nature of our business, this position requires working weekends.


·       Offer an amazing Bridal shopping experience to the Lovely Bride Clientele as they embark on one of the most important days of their lives

·       Manage Store operations and stylists in daily tasks to deliver a seamless and aspirational experience

·       Help the stylist be successful by offering strong back-of-store support throughout the day

·       Oversee the stylist appointments: assist in choosing designers and styles for clients

·       Assist in Styling the Lovely Bride from head to toe, offering suggestions that feel right to her

·       Manage client relationship with excellent email engagement and follow up phone calls

·       Maintain the stylists schedule throughout the day maintaining momentum

·       Manage inventory and track new deliveries, including receiving, steaming, and tagging

·       Assist owner in researching new designers and styles for the showroom

·       Manage vendor communication in regards to on-hand inventory and individual specialty orders

·       Manage any vendor issues and delivery

·       Manage any client issues with respect and an earnest desire to “make things right”

·       Manage quality assurance: inspecting all gowns and accessories, ensuring the product is perfect for our Lovely Brides

·       Troubleshoot vendor issues and communicate all challenges to cross functional partners in an effort to deliver product on time and in perfect condition

·       Run reports on closing sales to meet monthly sales goals

·       Educate and inspire staff to meet sales goals

·       Manage Computer system and train staff on how to use data base

·       Maintain a beautiful and organized showroom and product display

·       Maintain a respectful and organized sales floor and back office


·       An amazing team attitude with a passion for offering exceptional customer experience

·       3-5 years’ experience working in women’s specialty fashion: specifically, Bridal, Special Occasion, or Intimate Apparel

·       Excellent interpersonal communication skills

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Understanding of big picture, from front of house sales and client experience to inventory control

·       A desire to be successful and lead the stylist team by example

·       Strong attention to detail

·       Ability to pivot according to changing priorities of the business

·       Strong ability to be flexible and roll up one’s sleeves in an entrepreneurial environment
